Yeah, I knew that stuffiness was due to inflammation. Rats . . .

We were out of Airborne . . . but I'll be getting some because Craig said his throat is feeling scratchy. Don't want him to get sick. (I tell him if he's not nice to me, I'll breath on him. Pretty scary, huh?)

Lisa -- zinc! I didn't know that. I'll have to stock up so that I can have some. It might be too late for helping this cold. But for the future . . .

Um, I know you aren't looking for answers, but I just learned something (was it from a commercial? Oh, the sad state of affairs, I think it was) that helped me understand the miserableness of colds. Apparently the stuffiness is not just from mucus, it is largely from inflammation in the passageways. So, your mucus can run easily through the little bit that is open without there being two kinds of mucus, i.e. the green runnies and the gluey stubborns. Interesting, huh? As a side note, I have found Airborne to be helpful in getting over a cold. Supposedly it has it all. Feel better soon!

Yuck. Feel better soon. (And take an extra zinc each night. Has to be at night or it makes ya wanna puke. It usually works in warding off the cold or shortening its duration. As soon as I feel the tickle in the back of the throat, it's zinc, zinc, zinc.)
